A report ranking quality of life in cities around the world has declared Nairobi one of the worst. Though the report was published in July, netizens only drew attention to the report this weekend.

Kenya's capital was listed just behind Tehran as the second worst city in the world based on factors such as population density, green space, pollution and transportation access.

#WhyNairobiWasRanked2nd became a trending topic in Kenya as netizens discussed the reasons behind the ranking, focusing on poverty and police corruption.
