A day without news?

An awareness campaign encourages better protection of journalists.

Influential journalists have banned together to launch a worldwide initiative called A Day Without News. In response to the growing number of journalists harmed or killed in conflict zones, the campaign aims to persuade governments to protect journalists and the information they provide to the world.
