Gay Argentines react to Pope Francis

Argentina's gay community on Twitter voiced mixed reactions as Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the former Archbishop of Buenos Aires, was named the next leader of the Catholic Church on Wednesday.

Bergoglio has been a vocal opponent to same-sex marriage, which Argentina legalised in 2010. In a leaked letter, he called the church's efforts to fight same-sex marriage a "war of God."
