Farm foremen opened fire on 200 strawberry field workers in Manolada, Greece, injuring at least 29. The shooting was in response to workers who had gathered to demand six months of unpaid wages. Three suspects involved in the shooting have now been arrested and Greek officials have promised "swift punishment" for those involved.

The attack spurred an online boycott of strawberries farmed in the region where Wednesday's shooting took place.

Greek newspaper To Vima posted this picture of injured workers in hospital recovery.
