In the following video, the Oromo can be seen chanting, "We need a solution. We need protection. We are not part of the Ethiopian government." One protester says, "Several Oromo refugees living in Egypt, their rights have been violated. They're being attacked on the street by Egyptians because the Egyptians they don't understand that we are refugees living in Egypt."
