Black activists respond to Zimmerman verdict

Group calls for mobilisation of African-American youth.

Following George Zimmerman's acquittal in the death of black teenager Trayvon Martin, a group of young African-American activists have made a call to action.
In the video above, the Black Youth Project 100 (BYP100) condemns the verdict and calls on black youth to fight what they describe as a "continued devaluation of black life". Activists with the project also plan on mobilising minority communities in the US "beyond electoral politics".
