Members of the hacktivist group Anonymous held protests Tuesday across major cities around the world. Demonstrators wearing Guy Fawkes masks protested various issues including government corruption and NSA surveillance. The march took place on November 5, the same day as Guy Fawkes Day, which marks the anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot that failed to blow up the English Parliament in 1605.
Many shared their images of the event across social media using the hashtag #MillionMaskMarch.
