India’s Nigerians face backlash in Goa state

Is the murder of a Nigerian man in India’s Goa state linked to racism or gang violence? India-Nigeria tensions are on the rise after Goan authorities blamed the incident on infighting between rival drug gangs and ordered police to expel undocumented Nigerians. Nigerian expats, however, say racism is at play.  With nearly 50,000 Nigerians living in India and one million Indians in Nigeria, what impact will this incident have on both communities?
