Turkish police heroes?

Turks respond to the firing of five police chiefs involved in the country's anti-corruption crackdown.

The heads of five departments in Istanbul's police force were dismissed a day after officers detained more than 50 people on alleged corruption charges, including the sons of three cabinet ministers. 
 
Turkish citizens online tweeted their condemnation of the firing of these officers using the hashtag #5KahramanPolis or "Five hero cops". The hashtag has been mentioned more than 250,000 times in the past day.
