The 20th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide is being marked with an online memorial, using the hashtags #Rwanda20yrs and #Kwibuka20. Kwibuka means "remember" in Kinyarwanda, Rwanda’s language.

People shared photos from the remembrance ceremony in the capital Kigali, as well as art and photographs of those lost or injured as a result of the 1994 genocide where at least 800,000 people, mostly Rwandan Tutsis, were killed.
