Saudis flood hospital to visit lonely patient

A Twitter plea by a paralysed Saudi man has led to an outpouring of sympathy from Saudi netizens. After expressing his loneliness online, many began swarming the Riyadh hospital to visit the man known as “Ibrahim” (@glaad2007). He claims no one, including his family, has come to visit him. People have donated more than $25,000 in order to send him to Germany for further treatment. 

Many hashtags were generated in response to his tweets, including #زيارة_ابراهيم (Visiting Ibrahim), which has been used more than 200,000 times in a single day.
