Backlash over ‘stealthy freedom’ in Iran

Facebook group pokes fun at Iranian women posting pictures without their hijab.

A Facebook page which gained international attention for posting images of Iranian women defying their country’s dress code is facing some domestic backlash. In the midst of online praise for “The Stealthy Freedoms of Iranian Women” page, “The Men Stealthy Freedom in Iran” group emerged mocking the original campaign.

Images like the ones below depict men dressing up as women in hijabs. The men’s page has already received more than 64,000 likes.
