Some questioned whether the response to Sawyer has been too harsh:
Sawyer, like all news readers, simply reads a script for a living, she doesn't assemble the pictures or the script. Moreover, the "mistake" (I think it was deliberate) puts Palestinian life on par with Israelis.youtube.com
I wonder if ABC's mistake was intentional. It doesn't make sense that they just had a brain fart and accidentally used 'Israeli' instead of 'Palestinian' despite getting the rest of the sentence exactly right.youtube.com
