Toxins detected in city’s main drinking water supply affected more than 400,000 residents in the US states of Ohio and Michigan.

Toledo residents in the US state of Ohio are raising their glasses after the city’s mayor lifted the water ban which had left more than 400,000 residents without safe drinking water over the weekend. “Our water is safe,” Mayor Michael Collins announced at a news conference early Monday, following city tests of toxin levels in the water.
