No games for women with ‘too much’ testosterone

The Stream examines the controversy surrounding female testosterone testing in competitive sports.

Should female athletes with naturally high levels of testosterone be forced to lower the hormone level before they’re allowed to compete professionally? Sports authorities, like the International Olympics Committee, argue high testosterone levels create an unfair advantage in women’s athletics. Officials maintain lowering this hormone through surgery or drugs evens out the playing field. So, is this fairness or discrimination?
