Outcry from Bollywood actress against newspaper tweet sparks solidarity hashtag.
Bollywood and its fans expressed outrage Sunday after a leading Indian newspaper published a photo and report on actress Deepika Padukone’s cleavage.
The tweet from the Times of India (TOI) entertainment account read “OMG: Deepika Padukone cleavage show” along with an image from last year. Padukone, who is one of the most successful actresses in India, angrily responded and called the publication out on sexism.
