Attempted humour from Twitter users goes awry as Ebola outbreak worsens.
Comedy and deadly diseases don’t usually go together, but that hasn’t stopped some Twitter users from attempting humour with the hashtag #ReplaceMovieTitleWithEbola. With nearly 3,000 people confirmed dead from the disease in West Africa, many argue the trend is insensitive.
The hashtag has been used more than 15,000 times over the past two days.
