Actress Lucy DeCoutere publicly accuses Canadian media personality Jian Ghomeshi of sexual abuse.
A popular Canadian actress has become the first woman to publicly attach her name to accusations of abuse by radio host Jian Ghomeshi. Lucy DeCoutere alleged she was choked and slapped by Ghomeshi in 2003.
Twitter users jumped to support her and the seven other unidentified women who were reportedly abused as well. #IBelieveLucy was used more than 6,000 times along with #IBelieveThem.
