The Canadian government introduced a bill on Wednesday to keep potential immigrants in polygamous and forced marriages from coming to Canada. Under the "Zero Tolerance for Barbaric Cultural Practices Act", members of polygamous or forced marriages would be ineligible to immigrate to Canada, and immigrants already in the country could face deportation.

Many online denounced the bill, calling the proposed legislation racist.
