Hacking comes after white supremacist group calls Anonymous’ operation a bluff.

Operatives from the hacktivist collective Anonymous have taken over a Ku Klux Klan (KKK) Twitter account, posting a photoshopped image of a member from the white supremacist organisation being hanged. The hacking is part of #OpKKK, a cyberwar initiative announced by Anonymous last week in response to KKK threats against Ferguson protesters. Earlier, the Missouri chapter of the KKK had threatened to use “lethal force” to “defend” its members from the demonstrators, whom they accuse of being “terrorists masquerading as peaceful protestors” [sic].
