A Muslim Arab-American woman claims her family was discriminated against on a US flight because of her head-scarf. Darlene Hider said a passenger on her flight complained about her children being noisy and told her "This is America!" A Delta employee then moved Hider and her children to the back of the plane, and reportedly told them "You are at my wit's end. You better be quiet before I kick you off of this plane".
Other passengers protested on Hider's behalf and some came to the back of the plane to console her. A video of the incident was circulated online by the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) and has been viewed more than 30,000 times.
