UK students denied club entry ‘for being black’

Leicestershire Police investigate a complaint against a club allegedly not letting students in over their race.

A bouncer at a Leicester nightclub in the UK disrupted the birthday party of 19-year-old university student Kosi Orah. Orah alleges he and his friends were prevented from entering Ghost Nightclub because the club had already reached its black “quota”. He told The Sun the experience was “sickening” and reminded him of stories from “parts of America in the 1960s”. The incident is under investigation by police.
