Londoners document fake ‘terror attack’ with #999exercise

Police and emergency services stage mock attack on London streets to test security response.

Londoners are tweeting images of staged police exercises aimed at testing the city’s emergency response to possible terror attacks. The Metropolitan Police called it Operation Strong Tower. More than 14 agencies are participating in the operation which concludes on July 1.
