A letter from the principal of the Texas High School where 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed was arrested for carrying a homemade clock is circulating on social media. Many online are questioning the school's handling of the situation.
The day after Mohamed's arrest and release, Principal Daniel Cummings issued a letter to parents and guardians of MacArthur High School students about the incident. Cummings offered a brief and vague explanation of Mohamed's arrest and repeatedly assured parent's of the school's commitment to student safety.
