#12DaysofRage: rape survivors speak out on Twitter

US comedian and activist Margaret Cho is a rape survivor, and she’s speaking out about it. Hoping to break the silence and taboos surrounding rape culture, Cho launched a campaign this week encouraging survivors of sexual abuse to share their stories online.

For 12 days leading up to the release of her new video “I Want to Kill My Rapist”, Cho will be posting one video per day where she will share her stories of sexual abuse. She is asking others to join the conversation using #12daysofrage.
