The Stream

Reporting from the front lines

On the 10th anniversary of Al Jazeera English, correspondents reflect on some of the biggest stories.

For a decade Al Jazeera English correspondents have been reporting from the front lines of international news. They have covered the biggest stories, and ensured the voice of voiceless was heard across the world. Teams have braved the elements, war zones and hostile reporting environments on a daily basis to get to the story.

Most recently AJE journalists have been covering the offensive against ISIL to regain the Iraqi city of Mosul, the conflict in Syria going on more than five years, and of course the impact of US foreign policy across the Middle East. As the sun begins to set on 2016, these stories are likely to remain at the top of the news agenda.

On the next episode of The Stream, broadcasting live from Doha, we gather a roundtable of Al Jazeera correspondents to reflect on the headlines of today, and over the last decade. Join us at 19:30GMT.

On this episode of The Stream, we’ll speak to:

Hoda Abdel-Hamid @HodaAH
Senior International Correspondent, Al Jazeera English

Hashem Ahelbarra @hashemahel
Senior Correspondent, Al Jazeera English

Mohammed Jamjoom @MIJamjoom
Senior Correspondent, Al Jazeera English
