Anti-fascist action networks, also known as "antifa", represent a decentralised collective of leftist groups which can include anarchists, communists and socialists. Since the 1920s, antifa have been participating at protest events around the world, rallying against racism, capitalism, neoliberal economic policies and far-right political groups.
In this episode of the Stream, we ask antifa activists to explain what goes into "direct action" movements that aim to stop what they see as fascism in society.
This is part two of our conversation about antifa. Watch part one here.
