The policy, which comes into effect on January 16, gives Instagram the right to license all public photos to companies for advertising purposes. Here's an excerpt from the agreement:you hereby grant to Instagram a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use the Content that you post on or through the ServiceTerms of Use • InstagramSome or all of the Service may be supported by advertising revenue.
