Does Sweden's #CakeGate point to racial problems?

A viral image of a Swedish cake art installation has touched off a firestorm of questions.
Artist Makode Linde says the showpiece, a cake in the shape of a naked black woman, was meant to highlight female genital mutilation on World Art Day.
The Minister of Culture Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth was captured cutting into the reproductive region of the artwork, leading to an outcry across the country and online.
She has apologised for any unintentional offense, but some say it’s not enough and have called for her resignation.
