New Atheism's most polarising figure?

The Stream speaks with evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins.

Evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins is renowned for his prolific writing and advocacy for atheism. Dawkins came to worldwide prominence after his gene-centered view of evolution hit the mainstream in his book “The Selfish Gene.” He is known to speak passionately against creationism and intelligent design as a champion of the “New Atheism,” a movement which seeks to proactively counter and criticise religious ideas. Because of his outspoken tone, some view him as a polarising figure.

In this episode of The Stream, we speak with Oxford University Professor Richard Dawkins (@RichardDawkins). Members of the Stream community also join the discussion via Google+ hangout.
