Palestinian footballer's hunger strike ends

Mahmoud Sarsak ends record 92-day hunger strike in Israeli prison.

On June 18, Mahmoud Sarsak ended his 92-day hunger strike – the longest in history by any Palestinian prisoner – after the Israeli government agreed to release him on July 10. The 25-year-old has been detained by Israel since 2009 under its "Unlawful Combatants Law". Al Jazeera's Nadim Baba spoke to Sarsak's family in Gaza:
