Johan Galtung advances ideas for peace in society and economics.
In his latest book “Peace Economics”, Johan Galtung lays out a new way to approach the global economic system. He calls the current system a “killing economy” that abuses workers and proposes building an economy that promotes peace over war.
In this episode of The Stream, we speak to the founder of Peace Studies Johan Galtung (@JohanGaltung) about peace economics, as well as sociocide and the Palestinian bid for UN non-member observer status. Members of our community also join via Google+.
