The anti-Islam film that triggered waves of protests and attacks on US embassies also caused a media craze over the so-called “Muslim rage” it created. We look at how Muslim netizens expressed other perspectives and concerns about the misrepresentation of Islam. They argue that the issues go beyond a clash of civilisations or simply pitting free speech against religious intolerance.
