Four high-ranking appeals judges removed in a live internet broadcast.
Kenya's most senior appellate judge was among four judges removed in a vetting process broadcast live on the internet Wednesday. The decisions were reached at the conclusion of a review process that began on February 23. Judges were removed for a variety of reasons, some for obstructing the anti-corruption efforts and others for having inconsistent rulings.
Twitter users in Kenya followed the events closely by commenting and sharing the statements of the review board while using the hashtag #judgesvetting.
