What's in a weibo?

Chinese microblogging service Sina Weibo has experimented with different forms of censorship in recent months, ranging from a stalled plan to enact real-name registration to the release of a new system of self-regulation. Under this new arrangement users can deduct credits from one another for posting false or plagiarised content, with more points deducted the further the content spreads.
